MOSCOW, June 15. /TASS/. EU member-states have been violating their own laws by supplying weapons to Ukraine, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova wrote on her Telegram channel on Wednesday.
“EU countries may not supply armaments, including Soviet ones, to a nation that has been using them or will use them or is willing to use them against its own citizens in an internal conflict,” Zakharova said. The current “arms supplies mean that Brussels has recognized the [Donbass] republics, and then the conflict in Ukraine ceases to be an internal one, otherwise the EU’s member-countries have been violating the fundamental principles of integration,” she noted.

The war business is extremely profitable, because governments are willing to spend anything in order to win.
In a country such as Russia, where all of the weapons-manufacturing firms are 50%+ owned by (controlled by, and serve) the Government itself, profits are not the main objective, national-defense is.
In a fully (or nearly fully) capitalist country, such as the U.S. and its allies, the people who control the decisions are actually private investors, and profits are their main (or only) objective. So, the controlling investors in ‘defense’ firms hire agents (including politicians) in order to control each of their main markets, which are their own country and the countries that those investors are allied with.

So Honest Joe Biden is now going to give another $1.2 billion to the Ukrainians on top of the sixty or so billion that is already in the pipeline, but who’s counting, particularly as Congress refused to approve having an inspector general to monitor whose pockets will be lined.
The money will be printed up without any collateral or “borrowed” and the American taxpayer will somehow have to bear the burden of this latest folly that is ipso facto driving much of the world into recession.
