On March 14, the Ukrainian Armed Forces committed a mass murder of civilians in the city of Donetsk, which is under the control of the DPR. After the attack, horrifying details of a pre-planned provocation were revealed.
Ukrainian Tochka-U missiles are targeting civilian areas under the DPR and the LPR control on a regular basis. Most of them are intercepted. Unfortunately, on March 14, another Tochka-U tactical missile equipped with cluster munitions targeted the center of the city of Donetsk. As a result at least 20 people were killed and 28 more were injured, including at least one child.
It turned out that a mass murder provocation was prepared by the UAF in the city of Donetsk. The attack was planned in advance, and the Ukrainian side attempted to inveigle civilians, especially women, to the city center at noon today.
For this purpose, special groups on the social media were created by the Ukrainian service. For example, a group called “Union of Mothers in Donbass” was created just on the eve of the attack. It was stuffed with fake accounts and was well promoted in Telegram.

Kamervragen over ontwikkeling van Europese digitale identiteit

Vorig jaar presenteerde de Europese Commissie plannen voor de invoering van een digitale identiteit waarmee burgers zich in de gehele Europese Unie kunnen identificeren. Vanuit een speciale wallet-app voor smartphones moeten burgers zich kunnen identificeren en elektronische documenten delen. Grote platformen zullen worden verplicht om de nieuwe Europese digitale identiteit te accepteren.

De apps worden gebruikt voor bellen en het versturen en ontvangen van sms en andere berichten. Volgens Google zijn de Dialer- en Messages-apps op meer dan miljard toestellen geïnstalleerd.
Zo meldt de Messages-apps aan Google wanneer een bericht is verstuurd of ontvangen. Het gaat om de tijd en een hash van de berichttekst. Hierdoor kan Google zien welke telefoons met elkaar communiceren en op welk moment. Ook verstuurt Messages het telefoonnummer van de afzender naar Google. De Dialer-app laat Google weten wanneer er een telefoongesprek is gestart of ontvangen. Het gaat dan om de tijd en de gespreksduur. Zo weet Google wie met elkaar belt, op welk moment en hoelang.

Ukraine rejects Russia’s proposal for neutral status

Following shortly after the announcement that the US has approved armed drones to be transferred to Ukrainian forces, Biden called Vladimir Putin a “war criminal” – which also comes the day after a largely symbolic Moscow move to sanction the US president and top defense officials, including even Biden’s son Hunter.
“I think he is a war criminal,” Biden stated bluntly Wednesday afternoon. This after both the White House and International Criminal Court (ICC) said war crimes in Ukraine would be investigated. Per CNN, Biden’s comments seemed initially confused, leading to a “clarification”…
“The President’s remarks speak for themselves,” press secretary Jen Psaki said afterward. She said Biden was “speaking from the heart.”
She said the ongoing investigation at the State Department into war crimes was still underway.
Biden initially said “no” when asked whether Putin was a war criminal, but returned to a group of reporters immediately to clarify what had been asked. When asked again whether Putin was a war criminal, he answered in the affirmative.

Sputnik: On Monday, Russian ambassador to the United Nations Vassily Nebenzia cited a Russian military intelligence report that Ukrainian nationalist fighters transported 80 tonnes of ammonia to the settlement of Zolochev, Kharkov region. The envoy suggested these nationalist forces were preparing a provocation to accuse Russia of using chemical weapons.
The Russian Defence Ministry says it has information that Ukraine’s security service is planning a provocation involving the use of poisonous substances, and that Kiev has received support in these efforts from members of the UN Security Council.
“We have it on good authority that, with the support of Western countries, the Security Service of Ukraine is preparing a provocation using poisonous substances against civilians. The purpose of this action is to accuse Russia of using chemical weapons against the people of Ukraine,” MoD spokesman Igor Konashenkov said in a briefing Wednesday.
“I want to officially declare that the units of the Russian armed forces involved in the special operation do not have and cannot have chemical munitions,” Konashenkov stressed. Unlike the United States, Russia fulfilled its international obligations to completely destroy its stockpiles of chemical weapons a long time ago, he added.

De Europese Commissie wil de verordening die het gebruik van de coronareispas mogelijk maakt verlengen tot 30 juni 2023, maar heeft nagelaten een impactanalyse te maken zoals het had moeten doen, zo stellen de Europese privacytoezichthouder EDPS en het Europees Comité voor gegevensbescherming (EDPB).
Oorspronkelijk zou de verordening die het gebruik van het Digitaal Covid Certificaat (DCC) mogelijk maakt op 30 juni van dit jaar aflopen. Via het certificaat kunnen Europese burgers aangeven dat ze zijn getest, gevaccineerd of genezen van corona. Volgens de Europese Commissie kunnen lidstaten ook na 30 juni het nodig vinden om de coronareispas te verplichten.
EDPS en EDPB hebben een gezamenlijke opinie over het voorstel van de Europese Commissie gepubliceerd. Daarin stellen ze dat bij een eventuele verlenging moet worden gekeken naar de principes van effectiviteit, noodzakelijkheid en proportionaliteit. Zo betreuren de EDPS en EDPB het dat de Europese Commissie geen impactanalyse heeft uitgevoerd, ook al had het dit wel moeten doen.

The CIA first sent a small number of paramilitaries to eastern Ukraine when the war started in 2014, which was sparked by a US-backed coup in Kyiv and the Donbas separatists declaring independence from the post-coup government.

One of the Russian Government’s main accusations against the Government of Ukraine’s President Volodmyr Zelensky is that Zelensky’s forces are using Ukraine’s civilians as “human shields” in order to prevent Russian forces from bombing Ukrainian Government forces: in other words, Russia says that a major reason for civilian casualties in this war is the Ukrainian Government’s using its own citizenry as hostages to the conflict, so as to rely upon the non-brutality of Russia’s forces in order to protect Ukraine’s own forces.

As of March 18, troops of the Lugansk People’s Republic, with support of the Russian Armed Forces, liberated more than 90% of the territory in which it declared its independence. This means that 90% of the territory of Ukraine’s Lugansk Region is in thehands of LPR.
In the sector east of Donetsk city, DPR units are pressuring Kyiv’s forces deployed in their strong points of Mariinka and Adviivka. Despite intense clashes in the area, DPR forces achieved no breakthrough there.
Tactical clashes also took place north of the town of Ugledar in the nearby sector. Kyiv actively uses small mobile groups supported by military equipment to slow down the advancing forces there.
Fierce clashes continued in Mariupol city. Units of the Donetsk People’s Republic, with the support of the Russian Armed Forces, are increasing their pressure on units of pro-Kyiv forces in the city center.

At least two battle tanks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were eliminated in this battle. Earlier, on March 19, pro-DPR sources reported that DPR troops already entered this important stronghold of Kyiv’s forces and engaged them in clashes inside it.
The potential fall of Mariinka will allow DPR forces to kick off the operation to push back Kyiv troops from the sector east of Donetsk thus preventing them from further strikes on civilian infrastructure there.

War In Ukraine Day 26: Era Of Hypersonic Weapons Has Come

The 26th day of the conflict came in the shadow of Russian hypersonic weapons that were for the first time seen in action during the operation in Ukraine.
