It was analogized to Houdini making his 10,000-pound elephant Jennie disappear in his act. The Biden trick however occurred live before an audience of millions. Now, in an encore, a new major story on Biden’s Chinese dealings has surfaced. Once again, poof!
The media has made the story disappear except for a couple of the usual outlets.
Even with the New York Times reporting on the story, the disclosure of Biden’s role in securing one of the world’s largest cobalt mines for China (a key component to electric battery production) has been ignored by the major networks and many other print outlets. Once again, ABC. NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, and other media just cannot see the elephant.

Interpol elects Emirati general accused of rights abuses as president

An Emirati general accused of torture has been appointed as the head of the International Criminal Police Organization, commonly known as Interpol, despite widespread opposition from human rights activists.
“Mr Ahmed Nasser al-Raisi of the United Arab Emirates has been elected to the post of President (4-yr term),” Interpol tweeted on Thursday.
Raisi, who is currently the inspector general at the UAE’s Interior Ministry, was elected as the new Interpol president during the international law enforcement body’s General Assembly in the Turkish city of Istanbul.
The controversial appointment follows generous funding by the UAE for the Lyon, France-based organization.

On Thursday, Ethiopia warned the US against “spreading false information” after the US Embassy in Addis Ababa warned of a potential terrorist attack in the city and urged Americans to leave.
Ethiopian government spokesman Kebede Desisa said there was no terror threat to the capital and accused the US of supporting the forces from the northern Tigray region, known as the Tigray’s People’s Liberation Front (TPLF).
Desisa said Ethiopia is not only fighting the TPLF, “but also with colonialism of the powerful states of the West.“ He also rebuked Western media reports that said the TPLF is closing in on Addis Ababa as an attempt to create chaos in the city.
