Het ministerie van Volksgezondheid werkt aan een nieuwe app genaamd CoronaCheck waarmee mensen kunnen aantonen dat ze negatief op het coronavirus zijn getest om vervolgens toegang tot allerlei evenementen te krijgen. Dat laat minister De Jonge weten in een brief aan de Tweede Kamer. Naast de app wordt er aan een alternatief gewerkt waarbij geen smartphone benodigd is.

Twitter has announced it recently suspended dozens of accounts for undermining confidence in NATO. It was part of a broader purge of almost 400 Twitter accounts believed to have “ties to Russia, Armenia and Iran” state actors which were found to have “breached its platform manipulation policies,” according to Reuters.

Report: US bombs Iraq’s anti-terror fighters on Biden’s order

Pentagon press secretary John F. Kirby told reporters that Biden authorized the strikes on Thursday, allegedly destroying multiple facilities at a border control point used by Hashd al-Sha’abi fighters, including members of Kata’ib Hezbollah and Kata’ib Sayyid al-Shuhada groups.
Kirby claimed that the strikes were in response to recent attacks against American and allied personnel in Iraq.

The research, first published in a peer-reviewed journal called Marine Biotechnology, found that an extract of photosynthetically manipulated Spirulina is 70% effective in inhibiting the release of the cytokine TNF-a, a small signaling protein used by the immune system.
